DAMN DOES IT FEEL GOOD! Spring Training so far has been a blast to watch. I woke up Monday just in time for the game and I seen that Scott Kingery was in the lineup. Not only that, but they were wearing the red jerseys. I got up and immediately threw my red Kingery jersey on. Went downstairs and tuned into the game. Words cannot describe how much I’ve missed doing just this. Not only that, my previous yearly subscription to MLB.TV is still active! I was ready to pay the $150 for a new year, but to my surprise my account let me watch the games!
Alec Bohm started the game off with a CRACK! He put on 12lbs of muscle during the offseason and looks like he might transition into a power hitter. This team is going to mash. ALSO THEY FINALLY STARTED CALLING THEM BOHM RUNS. Something I’ve been waiting for all last year.
I truly hope Kingery makes the 40 man roster this year. I’d love to see him have one more shot at the majors. People can say what they want. Rah rah rah, his numbers this. His stats that. I don’t care. I’m a fan of the players and the game. I don’t give a shit about numbers. Neither did anyone else before the statcast era.
In other good news, I am down to 208lbs! Down 15lbs so far! Once I hit 190 I’m going to start bulking back up cleanly. Almost there!
I don’t have anything else to really say. Other than god BLESS that baseball is finally back.
