Here, I will be able to jot my thoughts down and make sure they are hosted on a platform I can trust. I love LiveJournal, but it&#8217;s been bought and sold so many times over the past 20 or so years that it is hard to know where your stuff is truly hosted. I&#8217;ve read that it&#8217;s currently all in Russia. Not that I mind, I&#8217;m sure most Russians are amazing people and I won&#8217;t fall for the propaganda bullshit the media shoves down our throats. However, at my age it was time to move on. Here I can have full control over my page. No ads. No nonsense.
